Introduction
What dock is, what xplg.com is for, and how the two fit together.
What you will do: understand what dock is for, so you know where to look for each task.
What dock is
dock is the hands-on portal for the XPLG products. It is where you:
- Evaluate — create an account, run a first deployment and get an evaluation license.
- Deploy — follow the deployment guides for Docker, Kubernetes, virtual machines, the cloud marketplaces or XPLG SaaS.
- License — register deployments and manage the licenses attached to them.
- Subscribe — choose a term, pay through XPLG or a cloud marketplace, and renew.
- Track usage — see GB/day, streams and XMC AI token consumption against what you are entitled to.
- Get support — open tickets, read the documentation and reach the right people at XPLG.
Every dock page answers one question and has one primary action. If you cannot find the action you need, the page you are on is probably the wrong one; use the sidebar or search.
What xplg.com is for
xplg.com is the business site. It explains what the products do, the use cases they solve and who they are for, and it is where you book a demo or talk to sales. dock assumes you already know which product you want to try and gets you running.
The products
- PortX — AI-powered telemetry pipeline control for observability and security.
- XpoLog — end-to-end log management and IT data analysis.
- LogX — deep ML/AI insights on logs.
- Audity — AI identity intelligence and IT audit.
- Flux — ultra-fast file sync and streaming between environments.
Each has its own section under Products.
Terms you will meet
A deployment is one installed instance or cluster of a product. A node is a single running process or host; a cluster groups nodes. Agents and proxies/gateways forward data into a deployment. Hot data is what is queried directly; a persistent queue buffers data in flight; archive/cold holds full-fidelity copies in low-cost storage.
