XPLG SaaS

Use the XPLG products as a service hosted and operated by XPLG, with nothing to install.

What you will do: request a SaaS tenant, receive its address, and point your data sources at it.

XPLG SaaS is the hosted option. XPLG operates the nodes, storage and upgrades; you manage sources, routing, users and licenses from the tenant console and from dock.

When to choose SaaS

  • You want to evaluate without provisioning anything.
  • You do not want to operate nodes, storage or upgrades.
  • Your data may leave your network and be processed in the SaaS region on offer.

If data must stay on your infrastructure, choose one of the self-managed environments instead.

Steps

  1. In your workspace, open Deployments and choose Request SaaS tenant.
  2. Select the product, the region and the environment (production or non-production).
  3. Submit. XPLG provisions the tenant and the row on Deployments becomes active with the tenant address:
https://<placeholder-tenant>.<placeholder-saas-domain>
  1. Sign in to the tenant console with the credentials you receive and complete the first-run screen.
  2. Point your sources at the tenant. For PortX, the collectors and gateways that forward data from your network are listed under Collect.

SaaS tenants are registered automatically; you do not need the token flow from Register a deployment.

Licenses and usage

A SaaS tenant uses the same licenses and units as a self-managed deployment: GB/day for XpoLog, streams and daily volume for PortX, XMC AI tokens for AI features. Usage shows on Usage in your workspace.

Operations

Upgrades, backups and availability are handled by XPLG. Maintenance windows and status are published through the channels listed under Getting help.
